My Other Creations

Everyone should have a knitted chicken. Knitting chickens happened when I was creating a baby present for a friend. The pattern came from Etsy (thank you Amanda Berry). From there I decided to adapt the pattern so I didn’t have to sew parts on. I crocheted the wings, beak, feet, waddle and comb into the assembled body.

This showed me what can happen when I go off pattern and add my own creativity to a project.

A friend said these chickens are perfect for toddlers because they fit in their hands. And, so far, none of the parts have come off. But I offer a ‘my-lifetime’ guarantee for repairs.

My goal now is to have a container of chickens for toddlers.
